The proposed method can communicate with the smart grid in IEC61850 protocol. The logical nodes for condition monitoring and diagnosis of CGIS are shown. Abstract

This paper describes an integrated CMD (Condition Monitoring & Diagnosis) system based on CBM (Condition Based Maintenance) for CGIS (Cubicle Gas Insulated Switchgear) to inspect the failure possibility of the electrical and mechanical components of CGIS in advance.
