Our target is the surface modification of metallic bioimplants to favour osseointegration. Well organized structures, like a matrix of drilling holes or a pattern of grooves, were created in the metallic surface by means of different treatments in which both laser parameters and irradiation schemes were varied. Processed metal surfaces were characterized by confocal microscopy and scanning electron microscopy SEM.
