Research on Complex Adaptive System Operation Model and Adaptive Mechanism of New R&D System

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to study the operation model and adaptive mechanism of new R&D system. It is of great theoretical and practical significance to the development and operation of the new R&D system. This research applies the systematic thinking to carry out the connotation of new R&D system with new interpretation on the basis of the complex adaptive system theory, and the complex adaptive characteristics of the complex adaptive system are analyzed to establish the complex adaptive system operation model of new R&D system, while the adaptive mechanisms of its multi-agent such as learning, collaboration, emergence, etc., are studied. Study results show that, the new R&D system is complex adaptive system, it is the emergence results for adapting with environmental changes. Consequently, the formulation of each relevant policy should be systematically considered characteristics of adaptability, nonlinear, butterfly effect, system hierarchical structure, integrity, etc.
