Abstract
Washington IS0 9000 Initiative and Washington Manufacturing Networks have formed a jointventure network project targeted to assist small to medium-sized firms to become I S 0 9000 registered. A "network" is defined as three or more companies working together to achieve what they are unable to accomplish individually. The goal of this particular network is to have the member companies realize economies of scale and cost savings not available to them as individual companies.
