However, most airport pavement detections are mainly done manually by pavement inspectors, which generally takes a long time. This affects airport operations, and cannot meet safety detection requirements in terms of detection efficiency and accuracy. In recent years, with the rapid development of advanced technologies such as ground penetrating radar, image recognition and ultrasonic detection technology, airport pavement structure safety detection and intelligent recognition technologies have emerged. This paper introduces the detection mechanism and intelligent identification methods of surface disease, hidden disease in structure layer, pavement strength, etc., which are high-precision, high-efficiency, and adapt to the characteristics of airport operation. Abstract
