This theory explains the construction of scientific knowledge, based on numerous and varied empirical studies. The model arises from the application of theory's principles to the construction of knowledge on programming concepts. The paper illustrates how developing the model contributes to consolidating didactics of computer science as a specific area with its own foundations and methods. The goal of didactics is studying in depth topics related to education in the discipline computer science. This paper introduces the model and describes its application to a specific case. Abstract
This paper presents a model for research in didactics of programming, built on the theoretical framework of Jean Piaget's epistemological theory.
