The continuous attack in the form of poor funding, lack of government attention, banditry attack, and issue in students’ seriousness has been a major cause for concern in recent times. Abstract

The role of secondary education in Nigeria cannot be undermined. This is due to the central position it occupies in the three tiers of education in Nigeria. It has been established that most students who cannot cope effectively in primary school education have the potential to strive efficiently in the secondary level of education. A child without a basis in secondary education cannot survive academically in tertiary education.
