The GPRS module is responsible for monitoring the repaving machine assembly remotely by uploading the data about the assembly as well as longitudinal and latitudinal data to cloud server. Abstract

In order to collect, process, visualize and upload the data on the repaving machine assembly in real-time, we develop a repaving machine assembly remote monitoring system in this paper. While adopting PLC as the core of control, the proposed system consists of the ZigBee module, GPRS module, GPS module and the cloud-based monitoring configuration software.
