Decapling as a mechanism for eliminating ecological and economic contradictions: the essential content and features of the assessment

Abstract

Awareness of the fact that the largescale use of natural resources in economic activity not only causes irreparable damage to the environment and limits the possibilities for ensuring the effective functioning of future generations, but also negatively affects the effectiveness of the current development of socio-economic systems, currently defines the paradigm of the implementation of approaches to the implementation of ecological and economic interaction. At the same time, one of the defining concepts in the process of studying the problems of ecological and economic interaction is increasingly the socalled decoupling, implying the elimination of the contradiction between ensuring economic growth and reducing the level of environmental impact.
