Simulation games in the course of training interpreters and guides-interpreters’ in the system of additional education

Abstract

Актуальность статьи обусловлена необходимостью реагировать на изменение требований к переводчикам и гидам-переводчикам. Цель статьи заключается в том, чтобы изучить возможность использования симуляционных игр в подготовке переводчиков и гидов-переводчиков в системе дополнительного образования. Проведенный анализ литературных источников позволил авторам раскрыть сущность понятий «симуляция», «сценарий» и «симуляционные игры». Рекомендовано использование симуляционных игр как средства формирования устойчивости мыслительного процесса, развития самостоятельности в принятии решений, приобретения практического опыта. Продемонстрирована эффективность планирования сценария в процессе подготовки студентов (будущих переводчиков и гидов-переводчиков) к практическим занятиям, т.е. играм-экскурсиям. Авторы предлагают материалы для планирования сценариев – планы-шаблоны. Статья предназначается преподавателям и исследователям, задействованным в программах дополнительного образования и содействующим формированию компетентности переводчиков и гидов-переводчиков. The relevance of the article is explained by the need to respond to changing requirements for interpreters and guides-interpreters. The article aims to study the feasibility of using simulation games in the course of training interpreters and guides-interpreters’ in the system of additional education. The conducted analysis of literary resources let the authors reveal the essence of the following terms: “simulation”, “scenario”, and “simulation game”. Simulation games are recommended as a means to develop sustainable thinking and independence in making decisions, as well as to gain hands-on experience. The efficiency of planning a scenario in the students’ (future interpreters and guides-interpreters’) training is demonstrated. The authors offer templates for planning scenarios. The article is intended for university-teachers and researchers who are involved in the programs of additional education and who facilitate the process of interpreters and guides-interpreters’ competence development.
