The course and results of experiments that allow observing the effect of treatment with a multi-radius roller on stresses in the structure of the hardened surface layer are described. The dependence of the microdistortion of the crystal lattice on the force with which the surface is processed has been established. The results of X-ray structural analysis, atomic force and optical microscopy are presented. Abstract
The quality parameters of the surface layer of armco-iron samples, formed during finishing-hardening treatment by surface plastic deformation with a multi-radius roller, have been investigated by X-ray diffraction analysis.
