Abstract
The article discusses features of the migration policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Considering the process of population resettlement within a certain historical period, the author divides the waves of migration in the country into three stages. This division is based on causes and nature of migration waves after the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
