Abstract

This paper proposed analysis and implement DC-DC integrated boost-flyback converter (IBFC) with LED street light stand-by application. This power state circuit was designed based on the boost–flyback topology, which has as main characteristic high voltage gain. Normally, the boost – flyback is designed with the low input voltage application. The advantage of this technique is that use boost converter built up voltage and low current stress of the power switch. A protype single switch was built and operated at 56 kHz fixed switching frequency, 32 VDC output voltage, and 50 W output power and the efficiency is equal to 90 % at the maximum full load.
