Using the method of regression analysis, this paper examines the influences of collaboration degree of Industry-University-Research and innovative environment on regional innovative output based on Chinese data. The findings show that the effect of collaboration degree is significant. However, with the help of environment, the effect can be quite different. Both political and technology medium environment can reduce these influences, infrastructure environment can strengthen the influence while the humanistic environment has no significant impact. Abstract

Based on the complex collaboration model and entropy concept in triple helix model, this paper gives out a new concept of collaboration degree of Industry-University-Research, constructs an improved model to measure this degree, and studies collaboration between participators and the innovative environment, trying to understand whether and how these factors influence the regional innovative output.
