Quality and efficiency of the teacher's activities directly depend on the level of his or her professional competencies in the field of IT and the ability to organize work with the student’s audience by means of the advanced forms of education. The purpose of this work was to study the influence of the computer environment on the cognitive activity and communicative abilities of students of a non-lingual university.
