The paper presents the research results of the possibility of IoT application for the microgrid operation control. The main lines of research are: the analysis and selection of microgrid control systems; the selection of monitored parameters of microgrid elements, sensor network for the microgrid parameters control; approaches for the use of IoT in the microgrid control system; the use of IoT for the collection and transfer of information, network characteristics, recommendations for choosing the information volume for the transfer. Abstract
To provide the stable operation of a microgrid, it is important to ensure the on-line control of microgrid parameters. The paper presents the research results of the possibility of IoT application for the microgrid operation control.
