Abstract

An isolated snubberless single-switched boost converter for high step-up conversion applications is proposed in this paper. The proposed boost converter can be operated with single switch and the energy in the leakage inductance is inherent suppressed and recycled by the power circuit and the snubber does no longer exist. Using of a transformer in the proposed boost converter, a galvanic isolation with high step-up conversion is obtained.
