Abstract

Car communication networks are rapidly evolving from a collection of sub-MHz control busses to a high-performance data network for connecting sensors, processors, and actuators to enable autonomous driving [1]. A plurality of high-bandwidth nodes like cameras, displays, radars, and wireless transceivers, demand a network architecture revision and drive the need-for-speed on individual links [1], [2].
