Abstract
SCORM's environment and its complex metadata make distributed LMSs difficult to communicate with each other, therefore hindering the content management and sharing. In order to overcome these two shortcomings, we propose a hybrid scheme which is composed of a XML binding model and an LDAP-based directory service.
