Abstract

To provide the step by step tutoring service like a human tutor, an intelligent tutoring system (ITS) for math word problem solving (MathITS) is proposed in this paper. The proposed MathITS has an ability of automatically generate tutorial solutions for any user input problems and thus could be widely used in after-class tutoring.
