In this research, the questionnaire’s link was distributed via WhatsApp group. The population and sample of this research were English Department Students in the Fourth Semester of IAIN Samarinda. There were 94 students in this research. Based on the results of this research, the researcher found that the most used kind of E-learning utilized by English Department Students in the Fourth Semester of IAIN Samarinda in learning writing skills during the COVID-19 Pandemic was Mobile Learning. The data showed that in Mobile Learning, 94 students, or 100% used smartphones, 81 students, and 86,2% used laptops. Based on the findings, the mean of students’ perception was 23,11.
