Abstract

The technology of Internet of Things (IoT) has significantly grown on importance in last 5 years. IoT applications have penetrated into almost all areas of everyday life. Robotics is also growing on its importance and it is apparent that the connection of IoT and robotics is promising. Intelligent space (IS) is a special modification of IoT for robotic needs. To support this statement a modular IS for educational purposes was created. In this paper, basic elements of IS as well as the own design of IS are explained and some brief case studies are mentioned to clarify the potential of IS.
