GLASSWARE FROM THE EXCAVATIONS IN MUROM

Abstract

Статья посвящена стеклянным сосудам из раскопок на Богатыревой горе в городе Муроме Владимирской области в 2017 г. В коллекции индивидуальных находок, собранной в ходе этих раскопок, выделяются две группы фрагментов стеклянной посуды. Первая группа состоит из фрагментов бокалов XII-XIII вв. Вторая группа объединяет фрагменты сосудов XVI-XVII вв. Импортные сосуды древнерусского периода представлены фрагментами изготовленных на Ближнем Востоке бокалов с орнаментом из накладных тонких фиолетовых стеклянных нитей и с росписью золотом и эмалью, изготовленных в ранний период бытования таких изделий. Среди позднесредневековых находок выделяются фрагменты сосуда с белой и синей филигранью, выполненного в технике «Fagon de venise» The article is devoted to glass vessels from the excavations on Bogatyryova Mountain in the Murom (Vladimir region, Russia) in 2017. Two groups of glassware fragments stand out in the collection of finds collected during these excavations. The first group consists of fragments of goblets or beakers of the XII-XIII centuries. The second group combines fragments of vessels of the XVI-XVII centuries. Imported vessels of the Old Russian period are represented by fragments of Middle East goblets or beakers with an ornament of thin violet glass threads and with painting with gold and enamel, which were made in the early period of the existence of such products. Fragments of the vessel with white and blue filigree stand out among the late medieval finds. The vessel was made with using the “Fagon de venise” technique.
