The purpose of the study was to analyze how respondents, depending on certain socio-demographic characteristics (financial status, level of education, occupation and place of residence), evaluate their literacy with how well they actually pronounce words. Russian Russian language self-assessment (personal assessment) was also raised in the study: for example, young residents of the country consider themselves more literate than older people, but their knowledge of the Russian language is shown by young people in indicators lower than the older generation. The data obtained were analyzed according to various socio-demographic characteristics of the study participants, namely, financial status, level of education, occupation and place of residence.
