. The article presents an analysis of the results of a sociological study of the quality of knowledge of the norms of the use of the Russian language in the Russian Federation. Today, great attention is paid to the preservation and development of the Russian language as an official means of communication of a multi-ethnic people in Russia. But the spread of the Internet has contributed to the emergence of negative consequences for the quality of use of the Russian language – there is a persistent trend of reducing the level of literacy of young people. A secondary analysis of the data from a sociological study conducted by VTSIOM on the topic “Day of the Russian language”was conducted. The sample consisted of 7,000 respondents. The purpose of the study was to analyze how respondents, depending on certain socio-demographic characteristics (financial status, level of education, occupation and place of residence), evaluate their literacy with how well they actually pronounce words. Russian Russian language self-assessment (personal assessment) was also raised in the study: for example, young residents of the country consider themselves more literate than older people, but their knowledge of the Russian language is shown by young people in indicators lower than the older generation. The data obtained were analyzed according to various socio-demographic characteristics of the study participants, namely, financial status, level of education, occupation and place of residence. In addition, respondents ‘self-esteem was compared with the overall literacy rate, calculated as an integral coefficient of respondents’ responses to the question about correct / incorrect pronunciation of a word. The study showed that the quality of use of Russian language norms depends on the socio-demographic characteristics of respondents. But in General, the quality of use of Russian language norms has a persistent tendency to deteriorate.

. In the article, the authors consider the place and role of the ecological cultural environment as a factor in the development and improvement of territories. The authors note that this topic is determined by the vital importance of solving socio-environmental problems for modern society. Human activities directly affect the environmental situation, which is constantly deteriorating. The authors focus on environmental culture as a system of knowledge, skills, values, human orientations in the field of science, art, beliefs, customs and traditions, as well as active work to preserve and improve the environment.
