Abstract

The paper presents an ECG telemetry monitoring system including: (i) portable analyzers of the heart activity; (ii) hybrid network architecture with wireless (bluetooth) and wired (RS485 interface) parts; and (iii) central unit. The system is applied on 85 cardio-vascular patients in the Cardiology unit of the Department of propedeutics of internal medicine in the University hospital “Alexandrovska” – Sofia.
