Jornalista por Vocação: algumas considerações sobre a percepção de Max Weber a respeito da profissão

Abstract

Max Weber's interest in journalism is expressed both in the research plan he proposed on the press in 1910 and in his political writings, especially at the 1919 conference in Munich, Politics as a vocation. In order to address this little-discussed topic in Weberian thought, it was decided to follow the path of the journalist to reflect, first, on what is his place and its importance in a sociological study of the press, keeping in mind epistemology weberian; and, second, about the qualities and attributes related by Weber to the journalist from his political perspective.
