Abstract

The most common causes of malfunctions and types of damage to traction substations power transformers are presented and classified, the influence of the climatic conditions of the region of operation on the reliability of the power transformer insulation is shown. The results of the analysis of the damageability of traction substations' power oil transformers with types of damage to the insulation system on the example of a Russia's railroad. The classification of climatic factors affecting the reliability indicators of isolation is proposed, a model of climatic factors influence on the reliability parameters of the transformer is developed and presented in the form of a generalized integral indicator estimated by the climatic impact score. The classification of climatic factors affects the transformer reliability parameters and allows us to outline and develop a strict technology for monitoring the status of the main parameters that characterize the wear level of the transformers and their readiness to work in the future.
