Abstract

This paper proposes an underactuated synchronization scheme of a hyperchaotic financial system based on Lyapunov theory. Unlike most of the schemes usually found in the literature, the proposed scheme only requires two controls to act in two states in the equations of the slave system. The proposed scheme has the advantages of being robust against disturbances and being structurally simple, which is interesting since it leads to substantial cost reductions. Simulations were performed to validate the robustness and simplicity of the proposed approach.
