Abstract

A digital beam forming (DBF) approach is presented to overcome the Line of sight (LOS) interference for wide band MIMO system. An external stage for LOS interference rejection is involved in the scheme. The performance of the wide band MIMO in various interference scenarios are examined by analyses and simulations. Since the LOS interference has been removed, the multiple receivers can effectively utilize the diversity, leading to performance enhancement. Numerical results are given to demonstrate that the proposed DBF approach exhibits robustness against the LOS interference.
