Abstract

The probabilistic amplitude shaping(PAS) scheme based on amplitude shift keying(ASK) has attracted much attention as a signal-shaping solution. However, due to the limitation of nonlinear effects in practical applications, the robustness of the ASK modulation scheme is far worse than amplitude and phase shift keying(APSK) modulation.
