Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a novel framework to allocate sub-bands dynamically for Universal Filtered Multi-Carrier (UFMC). Compared with the conventional uniform sub-band allocation, the proposed framework adjusts the size of sub-band based on the user demands, which improve the utilization efficiency of the subcarriers. Numerical simulations show that the proposed frame has similar performance on reliability, however outperforms the regular one in terms of flexibility.
