Pada penelitian berjudul “Peran Mahasiswa dalam Pemberdayaan Masyarakat melalui Kegiatan Kewirausahaan” ini peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif pengamatan berperan serta. Pondasi penelitian dan metodenya adalah kedisinian dan kekinian kehidupan sehari-hari di mana penerapan peran partisipannya menuntut hubungan langsung dengan pribumi lapangan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengenalan kewirausahaan secara langsung di lapangan bagi mahasiswa D3 Humas Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon merupakan salah satu upaya dalam rangka menguatkan mental sekaligus menyiapkan sumber daya manusia baru yang lebih kreatif, inovatif, dan progresif di masa mendatang.Kata Kunci: Mahasiswa, Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Kewirausahaan ABSTRACTThe concrete manifestation of the role of students in community empowerment includes being contributors to ideas, as facilitators or community facilitators, and as \"advocates\" of various interests of the people. In the study entitled \"The Role of Students in Community Empowerment through Entrepreneurship Activities\" the researcher used qualitative methods of participatory observation. The foundation of the research and method is the contemporary and contemporary daily life in which the application of its participatory role demands direct relations with the native field. The conclusion of this study is that the introduction of entrepreneurship directly in the field for D3 Public Relations students of the University of Muhammadiyah Cirebon is one of the efforts in order to strengthen the mentality as well as prepare new human resources that are more creative, innovative, and progressive in the future. Abstract
