But the Code covers general principals and requirements and not detail. The survey regulations should follow updating of methods and technologies to provide trustful and reliable data and information for offshore constructing. It is good practice to use the best domestic and international experience for proper and effective regulation of soil survey and engineering geophysical investigation in particular. Abstract

Summary Engineering-geological survey are regulated by various normative documents and standards. The system consists of regulations, technical rules, standards and even federal laws.
