Abstract
This paper investigates electrical response of fish flesh using a new design of slender steel indicator acted as probe in determining dielectric properties over a frequency range from 10Hz to 100Hz. At present, most of dielectric measurement technique uses electrode contact to under test sample, biological specimen but these techniques mostly are not suitable for living specimen. Therefore, in this research, a slender metal that resembles a pointer is designed and applied to analyse the electrical response of fish flesh dielectric properties for indicator of toxicity level in the fish body. Initial findings proven that proposed technique is feasible to be implemented.
