Cigarette smoke exposure can inhibit the work of the ovarian. Cigarette smoke containeds the main components of nicotine, tar, carbon monoxide, inorganic gases, heavy metals, nitrosamines, phenols, carbonyl formaldehydes, and polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons that affect reproductive hormone levels and reduce fertility. Nutrients rich in antioxidants and proper nutrition can be consumed to prevent the risk of cigarette smoke exposure, one of which comes from Zuriat fruit (Hyphaene thebaica). Substances containeds in Zuriat fruit such as proteins, flavonoids, phenols, saponins, tannins, terpenoids, steroids and glycosides. This study aimed to examine the effect of Zuriat fruit suspension on ovarian morphometry of mices exposed to cigarette smoke. The method used is a total experiment with a completely randomized factorial design (CRF). Experimental animals in the form of healthy female mices, aged 10-12 weeks, and 20-30 grams weight as many as 24 animals. Zuriat fruit suspension was given at a dose of 0; 0.5; 1.0; and 2.5 g/kg1 BW. Mices were exposed to 1 cigarette smoke on days 1-20 and treated with Zuriat fruit suspensions on days 21-40. Mice were mated on days 40. Observations on ovarian morphometry (length, width, weight, and number of corpus luteum) were performed on days 18 of gestations. Data analysis used ANOVA and DMRT at = 1%. The results showed that there was an increase in the length, width, and weight of the ovarian and the number of corpus luteum mices exposed to cigarette smoke after being given Zuriat fruit suspension treatment (α = 1%).
