Abstract

Partial discharges are local electrical discharges which will destroy the insulation of electrical equipment and lead to a partial breakdown of the high voltage insulation. The subject of partial discharge mechanisms, the partial discharge detection techniques, the partial discharge source locating are related with the PD signal characteristic. The interfering communication frequency in partial discharge is discussed and the partial discharge signal link is analyzed in this paper. A modern design method of lumped parameter combined filter to suppress the communication band interference is proposed in this paper, which can provide a flexible and consistent combined filter to meet the application in different noise backgrounds.
