Abstract

A PC-based fieldbus simulation platform has been designed to be used as a test-bed for distributed control systems development. The FBSIMU (foundation fieldbus function blocks simulator) tool can be used for tests via real time procedures some fundamental aspects of distributed control network and smart transmitters.
