The sample population consisted of 405 nurses that working in Turkey. Personal Information Form, Mental Workload Scale and Job Performance Scale were used in data collection. The data were collected via social media between October 2021 and December 2021 with the snowball sampling. In the descriptive analysis number, percentage, mean and standart deviation; in the correlation analysis pearson correlation and simple linear regression were used. According to results, the mental workload and work performance levels of the nurses were high. In addition, there was a positive and weak correlation between the mental workload and the work performance. It was determined that mental workload effected work performance as %12. Abstract
