Abstract

Following the companion paper general survey on global energy and emissions subdivision in Non-OECD, OECD and EU countries is presented. A summary of some 2050 scenarios recently published on energy transition is reported together with their impact on power systems and hydrogen development. The European Commission (EC) targets on hydrogen within its Green Deal view is summarised with comments and underlining necessity on clarifications on the hypotheses of its 10 Mt of green hydrogen production in 2030. The conclusions report author’s main remarks and suggestions on energy transition and hydrogen development.
