Abstract

The practical description and theoretical basis of an outdoor, transportable, cylindrical near field antenna test facility is presented. The fully automated system makes small demands upon overall test time, computer storage and processing time. Its prime purpose is for radiation pattern testing of large L-Band radar antennas.
