This article discusses the main parts and measures of smart teaching in ideological and political education classes at Huangshan University and conducts an empirical analysis of teaching effects through questionnaire surveys. The survey shows that smart teaching has not only effectively changed the way students using mobile phones but also increased the attendance rate and teaching capacity, making the class more appealing. Abstract

Information technology refers to the use of computers and modern communication systems to obtain, transmit, and process all forms of information. High speed and efficiency are its basic characteristics. As the ideological and political class in universities are facing the modernization and information transformation from traditional teaching to smart teaching, smart teaching now is a new teaching model that deeply integrates digital information technology and traditional teaching. This article discusses the main parts and measures of smart teaching in ideological and political education classes at Huangshan University and conducts an empirical analysis of teaching effects through questionnaire surveys. The survey shows that smart teaching has not only effectively changed the way students using mobile phones but also increased the attendance rate and teaching capacity, making the class more appealing.
