Abstract

Microstrip three-mode resonator consisting of a pair of quarter-wave and a half-wave resonator is considered. The frequency-selective characteristics of sixth- and tenth-order bandpass filters based on such a multimode resonator are investigated. There are attenuation poles near the steep passband slopes at amplitude-frequency characteristic of filters. At the same time, tenth-order filter has expanded high-frequency stopband.
