The main goal of this module is to implement all the required circuitry to one compact module and ensure the easy expandability of the modules to construct matrix converters in various configurations. The types of the bidirectional switches are analyzed together with the advantages and disadvantages of different types. The physical sample of the matrix 3x1 module is presented and used power transistors are modeled to the MATLAB/Simulink environment. Abstract
In this paper, a compact matrix converter module is presented.
