The Influence Factors Analysis of Job Satisfaction of S&T Workers: Based on a National Survey

Abstract

China faces serious challenges in mobilizing the enthusiasm of science and technology workers. For this, this paper aimed at measuring job satisfaction and its influence factors. This paper employed the national survey data on Chinese science and technology workers. The assessment structure of S&T workers' job satisfaction is China is composed of 15 dimensions. This paper introduced the concept of science and technology workers, the situation and characteristics of Chinese S&T workers' job satisfaction, and used multi-nominal logistic model to analyze 8 impact factors. The statistic results show that in the field of job satisfaction, S&T workers individual difference is significant; academic ability difference of S&T workers have significant impact on job satisfaction; and the research conditions and status have significant impacts.
