Abstract

This paper a novel analysis method for the evaluation of 2×n RLC circuit networks is introduced in the fractional order domain. The method entails the initial derivation of the transfer function and the equivalent impedances of the network based on the mesh current method. Corresponding theoretical formulations are obtained through the application of the band matrix inversion algorithm. In addition, we further investigate the effects of the system parameters on the transfer function and the impedance characteristics by either varying the number of the participating mesh (n) or the fractional order of the network.
