Abstract

In order to meet the requirements of storage and processing capability in satellite, a generation and update algorithm of routing table is proposed in this paper. The routing computation of satellite network is completed by the onboard router and the ground router, and there are two routing tables, which are local-network routing table and whole-network routing table. The analysis and discussion results show that the proposed algorithm can reduce the processing requirements of satellite, and relieve the burden of inter-satellite links. The ground routers can also be upgraded along with the satellite network expansion.
