Internet of Things (IOT) is a rapidly growing market that is being targeted by many companies world-wide to address significant local or global challenges. The projections for growth in this area are for up to 50 billion devices connected to the internet by 2020. Further trends in this market point to an exciting opportunity to truly pursue pervasive computing where energy efficient connected devices is one of, if not the most important, technology needed.
