The idea is substantiated that the emotions surrounding the information flow to a greater extent determine the formation of perceptions. The main content of the study is an analysis of the results of associative experiment (words of stimuli: «psychologist»; «psychotherapist»; «psychotherapy»), the questionnaire «Attitude towards psychotherapy», projective methods «Visit to psychotherapist». Abstract
: The article is devoted to the current problem of the influence of age-specific features on the concept of psychotherapy in modern information society.
