Abstract

In laptop antenna reception, the received signal frequently experience significant decrease when laptop antenna is located on a deep fading position in multipath environments. In this paper, we propose a method of using parasitic elements to improve the reception of laptop antenna, which can be incorporated (pasted) at the back panel of laptop screen. The proposed antennas have a wide frequency band, ranges from 2265 MHz to 6233 MHz, to serve all frequencies in WLAN operation.
